A day for family and celebration took a sorrowful turn on Mother's Day, May 12, 2013, when 37-year-old Glendon Ray George vanished from the Page, Arizona area. He was last seen at a popular local swimming spot on Lake Powell known as "The Chains". Glendon, an American Indian / Alaska Native man, stood at five feet, six inches tall and weighed around 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. His loved ones have been left with unanswered questions and the deep pain of his absence, holding on to the hope that they might one day understand what happened to him. The search for Glendon began after he was reported missing, but the vastness of the area presented significant challenges. The circumstances surrounding Glendon's disappearance remain unsettlingly vague. Authorities from the Page Police Department initiated a search after they were alerted to his absence.
