On September 29, 2013, 50-year-old Jerome Russell Teubert, known to friends and family as Russ, was last seen in the area of Edgerton, Wisconsin. He had departed from a family member's residence in Albion, which is located in Dane County. Concern for his well-being grew significantly after friends and family began to receive letters from him that suggested he was having suicidal thoughts.
