In the summer of 2017, a 24-year-old mother of four named Brianna Jayde Vibert vanished from Flint Township, Michigan. Her last confirmed sighting was in the early morning hours of July 15, 2017. Brianna, who was described as having a memorable personality that was both tomboyish and glamorous, was navigating a difficult period in her life, having recently divorced and entered a new, reportedly tumultuous relationship. On the night she disappeared, Brianna had an argument with her boyfriend, reportedly because her children's visit was denied due to a lack of running water at their home. Distraught, she left the residence and was later seen on surveillance footage at a Marathon gas station. The hours that followed painted a concerning picture of Brianna's state of mind and the events leading to her disappearance. At the Marathon station, she appeared anxious and had a cut on her arm, which her boyfriend later claimed was self-inflicted during their argument. Around 1:00 a.m., she accepted a ride from a man in a red Pontiac Aztek. This man, who was later identified and cooperated with police, took her to a local adult entertainment club where she had previously worked. Employees at the club described her as being in "pretty bad shape." Later, at approximately 2:45 a.m., Brianna was seen on surveillance footage at a Mobil gas station, appearing panicked, stumbling, and holding onto shelves for balance. Shortly after, she was last seen walking north on Saginaw Road as the man in the red Aztek drove in the opposite direction. The investigation into Brianna's disappearance revealed a series of puzzling and troubling details. Her cell phone was left behind in the red Aztek and was not turned on for six days, which led police to the driver. Her purse was later found in a ditch near her home. Despite extensive searches by law enforcement and her family, who scoured abandoned houses and known drug areas, no trace of Brianna has ever been found. The circumstances surrounding her disappearance remain unclear, and her case is classified as an endangered missing person. The man who gave her a ride was questioned and is not considered a suspect. The case is an overview of a young mother who vanished after a distressing series of events, leaving behind her four children and a family desperate for answers.
