On April 26, 2017, 47-year-old Angela Ann Hill was last seen walking away from her home in Yoncalla, Oregon. The circumstances surrounding her departure were immediately concerning, as she left behind all of her personal belongings, including her purse and identification. At the time of her disappearance, Angela was described as being 5'5" tall and weighing between 180 and 200 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was reportedly wearing a long black leather jacket, black pants that may have been jeans or pajama bottoms, and "Brahma" brand boots. Notably, Angela had difficulty walking and several distinct tattoos: a dagger with a rose and scorpion on her right calf, a flower on the inside of her wrist, and a turtle on the outside of her wrist. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office was notified of Angela's disappearance on the same day she was last seen and promptly began an investigation, appealing to the public for assistance in locating her. Despite their efforts, very few details about her case have been made public, and she has not been heard from since the day she vanished. Her case is listed with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office under case number 17-1728. Information about her disappearance has also been entered into the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) under case number MP50898. The lack of any contact or new information has left her case unresolved for years. Law enforcement agencies, including the Oregon State Police, continue to list her as a missing person. The case of Angela Hill is a quiet but troubling one, marked by the suddenness of her departure and the complete absence of any clues as to her whereabouts. She walked away from her life one spring day, leaving everything behind, and the reasons for her disappearance and her current location remain a mystery. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office continues to ask that anyone with information that might help them locate Angela call them at 541-440-4471.
