Thomas Joseph Nigro, a 31-year-old U.S. Army veteran known as TJ, disappeared on January 5, 2018, under circumstances that have left his family searching for answers. A former Army Ranger, Nigro was reportedly seen in Columbus, Georgia, where a woman stated she picked him up as he was hitchhiking. He told her he planned to meet a friend to go camping for a week.
