He was last seen on July 16, 2018, at a Circle K convenience store located at 130th Avenue and Indian School Road in Litchfield Park, Arizona. His appearance was distinguished by a scar on his left elbow and several tattoos on his arms and back. When he was last seen, he was reportedly with his blue 2008 Dodge truck, which also disappeared. In the years that followed Jeremy’s disappearance, the Phoenix Police Department handled the investigation, but significant leads were scarce, and the case grew cold. His information was entered into the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) under case number MP51482, a national database accessible to law enforcement and the public to aid in the search. The lack of new information was a source of ongoing distress for his loved ones. A significant development came in 2019 when Jeremy's truck was discovered; it had been destroyed by a fire in a desert area in Buckeye.
