In the late fall of 2018, the life of 24-year-old Jessica Lynn Goldsworthy took a turn that would leave her family and friends searching for answers. On the evening of November 16th, Jessica was last seen in Sutersville, Pennsylvania, in a gray four-door vehicle with four male acquaintances. Her last known location was in an area she was known to frequent, including her hometown of Elizabeth and the nearby towns of Jeanette and Greensburg. Jessica, a woman with blonde hair, blue eyes, and who wore glasses, was described by her twin brother as having fallen in with a different crowd after high school, leading to a more transient lifestyle. Despite this, her lack of contact after that November night was uncharacteristic, raising alarm among those who knew her. Her family grew particularly concerned when her usual social media activity ceased; her last Facebook post was on November 3, 2018. The circumstances surrounding Jessicas disappearance are deeply troubling and point to a specific and dangerous event. The four men she was last seen with were reportedly planning to rob a drug dealer on Butterfly Lane in Sutersville. Reports and testimony indicate that earlier on November 16, Jessica accompanied some of the men to scout the location. It was also reported that she was involved in stealing sweatpants, gloves, and ski masks from a Walmart later that day. During the subsequent robbery, two people were shot and injured. While Jessica was present during these events, it is believed she remained in the car while the robbery took place. After that violent night, Jessica was never seen or heard from again. In the aftermath, law enforcement launched an investigation into both the robbery and Jessicas disappearance. The four menidentified as Curtis Thomas Everett, Chad William Wolfe, Aaron Devaugntae Brown, and Dylan John Vaskowere all arrested, charged, and eventually sentenced for their roles in the robbery and shooting. While their criminal cases related to the robbery have been closed, Jessicas case remains an active missing person investigation, with authorities suspecting foul play. Despite the convictions of the men she was last with, no charges have been filed in connection with her disappearance, and her whereabouts are still unknown. The case was officially entered into the National Missing and Unidentified Persons database in February 2019, and her family continues to hope for answers in the unsettling and unresolved disappearance of Jessica Goldsworthy. A reward has been offered for information that could help solve the case.
