On July 3, 2014, Henry Edward Verdon, affectionately known as “Bootsie,” was last seen when a friend dropped him off at the Toms River Bus Station in New Jersey. At 82 years old, the Army veteran mentioned plans to travel either to New York City or Melbourne, Florida. This departure was not unusual for Verdon, who was known to take trips. However, this time, he left without his prescribed medication and cell phone, and he has not been heard from since.
Henry Verdon served honorably in the U.S. Army and was a familiar face at various Veterans Affairs (VA) hospitals. He suffered from bipolar disorder, and some reports also mention schizophrenia. Despite his mental health challenges, Verdon maintained regular contact with his family, even during his travels. His sudden and complete disappearance was out of character and deeply concerning to those who knew him.
On the day he vanished, Verdon was wearing a distinctive black and silver Harley Davidson jacket and blue jeans. He stood between 5'8" and 5'10" tall and weighed approximately 180 to 200 pounds. His gray hair and blue eyes were notable features. The friend who dropped him off at the bus station reported that Verdon was in good spirits and mentioned his intended destinations.
Verdon's family has been relentless in their search for him. His niece, Suzanne Wold, who resides in Minnesota, has been actively seeking information about her uncle's whereabouts. The family has been in contact with the Berkeley Township Police Department, and Verdon's brother has submitted DNA samples to aid in the search. Despite these efforts, no substantial leads have emerged. ...Read More

on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
