On the evening of February 10, 2020, Roy “Glenn” Mahan departed his home in Soak Creek, West Virginia, around 10:30 PM, driving his maroon 2009 Subaru Forester with West Virginia license plate 1RX626. He was last seen in Eccles, West Virginia, approximately at 1:00 AM on February 11. Since that night, Glenn has not been seen or heard from, leaving his family and community in a state of distress and uncertainty.
Glenn, a 52-year-old electrician in the coal mines, had faced significant personal challenges. After the death of his wife Kristie from heart disease at age 40, he experienced a period of depression and struggled with substance abuse. Despite these hardships, he maintained close ties to his community, often visiting areas between Eccles and Coal City.
A week after his disappearance, Glenn's Subaru Forester was found abandoned in a wooded area. His cell phone was located about a quarter-mile away, submerged in mud. These findings deepened the mystery, as there were no signs of Glenn himself.
The West Virginia State Police, particularly the Beckley detachment, have been actively investigating Glenn's disappearance. Despite their efforts and community involvement, including tips and searches, no substantial leads have emerged. The case remains open, with authorities urging anyone with information to come forward. ...Read More

on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
