On June 23, 2024, 22-year-old Cody Enoch Haney vanished in the dense wilderness of the Apalachicola National Forest near Bristol, Florida. According to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System , Haney was last seen by friends in the area of Forest Road 109. His vehicle was later discovered abandoned in the woods off this road, raising immediate concerns about his safety and whereabouts.
Prior to his disappearance, Haney had a history of legal troubles. He had been employed at a local business in Liberty County but was arrested for a parole violation after the signal from his ankle monitor was lost. Despite this setback, his employer noted that upon returning to work, Haney appeared to be making positive changes and was showing improvement.
However, on the morning of June 23, Haney allegedly broke into his workplace around 6:30 a.m., took a set of keys, and stole a company truck. The vehicle was later found bogged down in mud within the Apalachicola National Forest. Tracking dogs were brought to the scene but were unable to pick up a scent, suggesting that Haney had moved quickly or that environmental factors had erased any trace of his path.
The Liberty County Sheriff's Office has been actively investigating Haney's disappearance. Despite extensive search efforts, including the use of tracking dogs and community outreach, no significant leads have emerged. Haney is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing between 165 and 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. ...Read More

on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
