Clarence W. Eaton, a 72-year-old resident of Everton, Arkansas, lived a tranquil life in the Harmon area of Boone County. Nestled off Crawford Road, his home was situated in a serene, wooded region near the Marion-Boone county line. Known for his graying brown hair, blue eyes, and signature mustache, Clarence was a familiar figure in the local community. He was last seen at his residence at 8:30 a.m. on January 1, 2015. When his wife returned home later that day, she found a note indicating that Clarence intended to harm himself. Authorities believe he may have been suicidal at the time of his disappearance.
In the days following Clarence's disappearance, a search was conducted in the surrounding area. His pickup truck was found abandoned near a creek on his property, approximately three-quarters of a mile from his house. Despite thorough searches, there was no indication of his whereabouts. The Marion/Boone County line runs through Clarence's property; as a result, both the Marion County Sheriff's Office and the Boone County Sheriff's Department, along with the Yellville Police Department, are investigating his disappearance.
Clarence's disappearance has deeply affected the local community. In 2019, he was among thirteen individuals with ties to the Twin Lakes Area listed among 487 missing Arkansans. The Arkansas Attorney General's Office has hosted events like the "Never Forgotten – Arkansas Takes Action" to raise awareness and provide support for families of missing persons. These events bring together law enforcement officials and families to share resources and strategies in the search for missing loved ones.
Despite the passage of time, the investigation into Clarence's disappearance remains active. Authorities continue to seek information that could lead to his whereabouts. The case is listed in the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) under the number MP63981. Clarence is described as a Caucasian male, 5'10" tall, weighing 200 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing brown Carhartt pants, Red Wing boots, and a baseball cap. ...Read More

on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
