On December 16, 1994, 22-year-old LaTonya Dionne Roberts attended a basketball game at Oak Ridge High School in Orlando, Florida, to watch her sister Lolita sing the national anthem. After the game, LaTonya informed her sister that she planned to visit her boyfriend and possibly go to a nightclub later that evening. This would be the last time her family saw or heard from her.
Two days after LaTonya's disappearance, her white 1988 Toyota Corolla was found abandoned outside Club Hero's in Eatonville, Florida. The car had a flat tire, the doors were locked, and the alarm system was activated. Notably, the driver's seat was pushed all the way back, and the cushion LaTonya used to reach the pedals—given her 4'11" stature—was found in the back seat, suggesting someone else had driven the car.
LaTonya's family disclosed to investigators that she had been in an abusive relationship with her boyfriend. A month prior to her disappearance, he allegedly took her to a citrus grove in Polk County, dug a hole, and threatened to kill her, stating no one would ever find her. Despite being identified as a person of interest early in the investigation, there was insufficient evidence to charge him.
Over the years, the Orange County Sheriff's Office has continued to investigate LaTonya's case. In 2020, advancements in technology prompted detectives to re-examine the case, bringing renewed attention to a person of interest. However, interviews with patrons of Club Hero's revealed that no one remembered seeing LaTonya at the club that night. on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
