On the evening of January 28, 2007, 48-year-old Darrel Wayne Kempf departed from North Cove, Washington, intending to return to his home in Graham, Washington. Driving his blue Plymouth Voyager van, Kempf was expected to complete the journey without incident. However, he never arrived, and by the following day, his family reported him missing .
Later on January 29, Kempf's van was discovered overturned on a remote beach near the North Cove Jetty along State Route 105, just north of the Shoalwater Indian Reservation. The vehicle had apparently veered off the road, flipped, and landed on its roof. Intriguingly, there were no signs of injury or Kempf's presence at the scene. A belt was found tied to the steering wheel, and search dogs briefly picked up a scent trail on the road above, which quickly dissipated .
At the time of his disappearance, Kempf operated a used-car business named Triad Marketing. Financial records revealed that he had borrowed substantial sums, potentially up to $3 million, from various finance companies. Following his disappearance, numerous vehicles from his dealership vanished, prompting investigations into possible fraudulent activities. Authorities later confirmed that Kempf had engaged in a scheme involving accepting cars for consignment, using their titles to secure loans, and then selling the vehicles to third parties without repaying the loans .
A few days after Kempf went missing, his family received a letter purportedly written by him and mailed by a friend from his Army days. The letter detailed Kempf's financial troubles, including debts to loan sharks, and expressed fear for his safety. It suggested that if the family was reading the letter, he was likely deceased. This correspondence added a layer of complexity to the case, raising questions about whether Kempf had orchestrated his own disappearance ....Read More

on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
