Christopher Harper, a 37-year-old man residing in Burlington, Vermont, was last seen in mid to late November 2024. Reports vary, with some indicating his last contact was on November 15, while others suggest November 22. He was reportedly seen near North Street in North Burlington, wearing dark cargo pants and a winter coat, and carrying a backpack, a walking stick, and a longboard. This disappearance is considered highly uncharacteristic, as Harper was known to maintain daily contact with his family. 

Established Roots in Vermont

Harper had established ties to the Burlington area for approximately a year and a half prior to his disappearance. Before that, he spent about five years in Jeffersonville, Vermont. His consistent communication with family and friends underscores the unusual nature of his sudden absence. 

Official Investigation and Public Appeals

The Burlington Police Department initiated an investigation into Harper's disappearance, designating it as case number 24BU027426. Detective Corporal Eric Kratochvil has been assigned to the case. Authorities have released information to the public, including Harper's physical description: brown/grey hair, blue eyes, and a height of 5'8". Numerous flyers have been distributed throughout the community in efforts to gather information.
