In the early hours of October 2, 2014, the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago was shaken by the tragic death of Raymond Murray, a 25-year-old security guard. Employed as a certified armed security officer at a Chicago Housing Authority complex, Murray was returning home from his shift around 3:30 a.m. As he approached his residence in the 7800-block of South Jeffery Boulevard, an assailant in a dark-colored vehicle opened fire, ending his life instantly.
The loss of Raymond Murray reverberated throughout the South Shore community. Friends, family, and neighbors gathered to honor his memory, holding prayer vigils and balloon releases near the site of his death. Despite the rain, mourners sang, prayed, and shared stories of Murray's kindness and dedication. His mother, overwhelmed with grief, pleaded for an end to the violence that claimed her son's life.
Murray's life was characterized by devotion and talent. After graduating from Kenwood High School in 2007, he attended St. Augustine University in Raleigh, North Carolina, on a band scholarship, showcasing his skills as a trombone player. He returned to Chicago to care for his ailing mother, demonstrating a deep sense of family responsibility.
On that fateful morning, as Murray neared his home, a dark-colored car approached. An individual inside the vehicle opened fire, striking Murray multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Family members reported that his wallet, phone, and licensed handgun were missing, suggesting a robbery motive. ...Read More

on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
