Despite extensive investigations and the passage of over three decades, his disappearance remains an unsettling mystery that continues to haunt his community.

Background and Personal Life

Born on May 19, 1939, Byron Davis was a 53-year-old African-American man at the time he went missing. Standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 175 pounds, Byron was easily recognizable by the noticeable gaps between his remaining teeth, as he was missing his upper front teeth. He was mentally disabled, which contributed to his trusting and childlike demeanor. Despite his challenges, Byron was a familiar and beloved figure in his neighborhood, often seen wearing his signature blue t-shirt, blue slacks, navy blue cap, and black shoes.
