A Fateful Morning Behind the Playpen

In the early hours of October 4, 2015, the tranquility of a Tampa morning was shattered by a violent act that remains unresolved to this day. At approximately 5:16 a.m., 32-year-old Jermaine Montea Faison was seated in his 2009 blue Maserati, parked behind the Playpen Gentlemen's Club located at 1715 N. 50th Street. Without warning, a gunshot rang out, striking Faison as he sat in his vehicle. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, he succumbed to his injuries, leaving a void in the lives of his family and friends.

The Elusive Person of Interest

In the aftermath of the shooting, the Tampa Police Department swiftly initiated an investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding Faison's death. Detectives identified a person of interest who was observed entering the Playpen Gentlemen's Club prior to the incident.
