The city of Louisville, Kentucky, has witnessed numerous tragedies, but few are as haunting as the unsolved murder of Corey Lee Black. Despite the passage of time, his case remains open, leaving family and friends yearning for justice.
Born on June 16, 1973, Corey Lee Black was a 34-year-old African American man known for his passion for music. As a self-employed music producer, Corey dedicated his life to creating and sharing melodies that resonated with many. Beyond his professional endeavors, he was a devoted father to three daughters: DeCora Martin, Kori Black, and Naiyana Williams. His commitment to family was evident, and he was an active member of Cable Baptist Church, where he found spiritual solace and community support.
On the night of October 29, 2007, tragedy struck. Corey was murdered at 4028 Poplar Level Road in Louisville. The details surrounding his death remain scarce, and the lack of information has only deepened the anguish of his loved ones. The Louisville Metro Police Department documented the incident, but despite their efforts, the case has yet to be solved.
In the wake of his untimely death, Corey's family and friends have kept his memory alive through heartfelt tributes. His mother, Elder Rosalind Daugherty, along with his siblings—Rev. Carla Anderson, Tonya Moore, David A. Anderson Sr., William M. Black Jr., and Kwame T. Adams—have expressed profound grief and enduring love for Corey. Their messages, filled with sorrow and hope, reflect the deep void left by his absence. ...Read More

on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
